17u American wins 6-2 to take home the championship

The 17u American team entered their final tournament of the fall with the goal of taking home a championship. In game one, the 17u American team held off Diamond Skills Baseball 2021 winning 4-3. In game two, the bats exploded and scoring runs wasn't an issue. Game two also featured strong pitching and defense as the 17u American team won 17-0 over DCP Rawlings 2020. After Saturday, the 17u American team sat a top the standings and entered playoff Sunday as the 1 seed. In game three, the 17u American team showed timely hitting and timely pitching on the mound as they defeated the 8 seeded AD Titans 6-2. In the semifinals, the 17u American faced off against the 5 seeded Diamond Skills Baseball team again but this time had no trouble as they won 7-0. In the championship game, the 17u American team squared off against the 3 seeded DCP Rawlings 2021 team. With big time hits, big time pitching, and big time plays in the field, the 17u American team was able to win 6-2 and take home the Mid-Atlantic Championship. The boys put up 40 runs In 5 games and Only gave up 7 runs all weekend long. Congrats! Hard work pays off!
